Welcome
Fellow believers, as we go through the challenge of facing the COVID-19, our faith is being stretched. We need to trust that the Lord will bring good out of this in our personal lives and in our church as a whole.
James 1:2-8 (NIV)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
We, as Christians, need to be strong in our faith, by reading the word which washes us (Ephesians 5:26), by spending time in prayer, and by listening to the Holy Spirit who is our comforter.
James 4:8 - “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”
2 Timothy 1:7 - “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
As a leadership we would like to encourage you in the following areas
Have fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:25)
To encourage one another
To support others who are facing challenges
To keep in the habit of meeting
Please do this with wisdom in the light of the corona situation, taking all necessary precautions. Please utilize creative opportunities to meet remotely through tools like WhatsApp, Skype, FaceTime and Zoom.

We are working to create smaller groups within the church that can fall under specific leadership members to better support and encourage one another. This would be done remotely and can include those outside of Zambia. Prayer
Let us spend this time in prayer praising our Lord and King seeking His face and asking for His kingdom to come and will to be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give thanks for who God is and His love which endures forever.
Give thanks for God's presence with His people.
Give thanks and praise to God for His Love and Grace.
Pray against coronavirus that it may burn out quickly.
Pray against fear in the Nation. Pray that faith will arise.
Pray that people will have Godly wisdom to know how to deal with the covid-19 threat.
Pray for health and healing and provision for Kate, Farai and Hope.
Pray for government to seek God in all the matters of governance.
Pray for God's Power to be manifest in the Chipata Easter Outreach.
Pray for the Pastor Call Committee.
Pray for all those who have recently travelled back to their ‘home’ countries and are dealing with transition and adjustment.
Please share your praises and prayer needs with any of the Elders via WhatsApp or email the church email so that we can all continue being in prayer for one another.
Giving
Our church overheads continue to accrue each month and our income is not matching expenditure. We are well aware that we are all under tight financial conditions, but we still need to pay our rent and Yvette’s salary.
If you feel led to give to the church you can drop-off your offering at the church office during regular working hours or can use online transfer facilities. If you want your offering to go to a specific person/project/purpose simply write this on an envelope and place your offering inside this.
