Welcome

Please click below for the video welcome message.

Welcome to another of our LCC Online Services. At least we can meet online, but we do hope that we can soon meet live again!

Prayer:
Father, we praise You and thank You that we are not cut off from You by any circumstances. You are the Total Victorious One and You are ever present by Your Spirit and we do have Your Word the Bible. Thankyou that You are leading and guiding us through this Service and You will be with us forever.

John 12: 25,26.

He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Notices:

1. Our new Pastor Chad and family are far advanced in their preparations to join us. Their main holdup at the moment is that they managed to get a COVID vaccination and once receiving the follow-up vaccination they will be ready to fly.

2. Online Services will continue until we receive clearance to meet in person.

3.Keep praying for the sick. Vanessa ‘Swart’ needs our prayers through her treatment.

4. Remember to pray through the Prayer List below.

5. Give great praise to God for healing Jonathan and Karla from COVID and for healing Bradley from the same.

What did the reading above mean when it read ‘love your life and you will lose it’, and ‘hate your life in this world and you will keep it for eternity’?

We are to live in this world doing the things that God leads us to do, but we should be restless for Heaven and an eternity in God’s presence.

Because of this, and because of the very real pressures that are building against us such as COVID difficulties and the pressures associated with the soon coming end times persecutions, we need to be constantly, moment by moment alert to the leading of Holy Spirit. Then we will achieve God’s purposes for us and we will have inner peace and joy and assurance

Praise The Lord!

Amen

Please be diligent to pray over the Prayer List!

Prayer

You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
    you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
You forgave the iniquity of your people
    and covered all their sins.
You set aside all your wrath
    and turned from your fierce anger.

Restore us again, God our Savior,
    and put away your displeasure toward us.
Will you be angry with us forever?
    Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
Will you not revive us again,
    that your people may rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, Lord,
    and grant us your salvation.

I will listen to what God the Lord says;
    he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants—
    but let them not turn to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
    that his glory may dwell in our land.

10 Love and faithfulness meet together;
    righteousness and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
    and righteousness looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,
    and our land will yield its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
    and prepares the way for his steps.

Benediction

As we go forth this week, may we heed the Words of Christ as He sends us out:

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
This is my command: Love each other.”

- John 15:9-17 (NIV)
